One of the interesting things about this unit was the fact that I worked with a man from Sudan back in the 1990s and he had mentioned that his grandfather had served in this regiment. His brother followed the family military history and became a paratrooper, trained by Gaddafi's Army in Libya.

The KAR was equipped much along the lines of the British
Indian army in the fact that their weapons and equipment were a generation
behind the regular British Army. For the Burma campaign, the figures are modeld
with Airfix Australian figures painted with dark skin.
